Got Flagged for Fraud with Bitcoin on Paypal

FYI. This happened today when trying to fund Bookmaker. Kind of sucks. I am currently locked for 8 days of using crypto except to buy and sell.

Its like hit or miss with them....

Sometimes they will flag accounts and other times you read people have no issues with sportsbook deposits. I guess it all depends on if the paypal moderator is a gambler and/or having a bad day at the sportsbook.

BS when they do this because they are basing their decision on speculation rather than knowing for a fact (Hence the reason at times some accounts will get frozen for no reason)

Unless they simply have PayPal employees playing offshore and tracking any & all addresses they’ve used to compare

4.99 a month - gets you 10k in free trading fees (buy sell or exchange). Figure most places are 1% fee to buy with $$ ACH transfer or sell - that’s $95 a month saved for 10k in transactions.

Absolutely HATE PayPal - they flag everything. No definite proof - but I am almost certain that they track your sites visited similarly to Facebook if you use the app. I am certain that’s how/why they blocked me as only used app once and that’s when I got flagged (was in a hurry to get $$ in on a game coming up that had a major line swing coming).

MetaMask also a must use for crypto.

This! The less information you give them the better. They can ban you because you are sending to a sportsbook but if you’re sending to a wallet first they have no clue what you’re doing after that.

i was just surprised they cared about $210 going to a book.

I had Coinbase and have Paypal but never use either for our purposes here. Some of these apps work great for years for transfers until they don't. Just like it was with WU and MG.

Of course you can buy and sell on THEIR platform. What is PayPal trying to prove with an 8day send suspension, can u receive or is that blocked too. PayPal reaps what 2.5% on the buy/sell. Free money for exchanges. BTC got ugly this week. Whales will buy after a 25k drop the last month.

It may sound like jumping through a lot of hoops but how often are you funding your sportsbook? It's not that bad every once in awhile.

Be careful with Atomic wallet.

In June 2023 they had a very shady "hack".

By the grace of god, my 0.5 btc was not touched, along with the 200 sol I had staked. Maaannn, the time it took to login after I heard the news, was like the most stressful 30 seconds of my life. lol
