Raiders did the same thing, and rightly so - parts of my beloved California are turning into $#!T-Holes. Some parts are literally unliveable now because of idiot representation. Not to get too political, but we all know what’s going on.

Why in the hell would someone want to invest a billion dollars in Oakland vs Las Vegas ?!?

It’s real estate - location, location, location. One is a tourist destination with a tourism board dedicated to keeping the party going - the other is a less desirable sister city to San Francisco which is quickly sinking. You can’t be everything to everyone- you either want to be a socialist paradise or you want to embrace people who make money for a living. If you choose to give hand outs to everyone- don’t expect the rich people to do business in your city or taxes to support your budget.

Oakland is not a major league city.
