Watching fishing videos is like watching golf to me - much better going out and enjoying it yourself than watching some “professional” do it. I watch sports because there is no way in hell I could do some of the stuff these guys do (at least not and get back up off the ground following) - fishing I could do anything they do - it’s just a matter of pure luck catching the biggest fish generally.

Also - much like golf, it’s much more enjoyable with a cooler full of beer.
