I'm not sure if Mexico was a full strength but they did have a few big names on the field unlike USA.

If Mexico would put forth as much effort & prioritization into their country as they do a game called soccer, they would be in much better shape

Soccer just doesn’t matter in the states

While other countries have their best athletes representing their soccer teams, the U.S. has 3rd. 4th and 5th tier athletes on theirs

Imagine if all U.S. elite athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL ditched those sports and all started focusing on soccer growing up

It would not be pretty for the rest of the world

Would be like those 14yr old boys who just blew out the women’s Swedish team or maybe worse

USA isn’t any good, I’m shocked they made it to the final. MLS is total trash On the world stage. PSG beat InterMiami 4-0 and they could’ve won 10-0 had they wanted. American professional soccer players aren’t good. MLS is comparable to South American second tier leagues. Brazil B-Argentina second league. People in USA actually watch MLS and think it’s good soccer, it isn’t. It’s trash. The players aren’t any good. Messi plays with garbage. Suarez is washed.

Refs gave it to Mexico as usual

The 2nd mexico goal was off a free kick that wasnt even close to a foul. You dont just hand out free kicks they are deadly

The Ref was making calls in spurts.... He started off calling foul after foul, then no call on pretty significant fouls, then back to calling fouls again. No consistency from the ref.
