I really dont get it. I mean I get wanting to bet in his position with all the information he has lol but there HAS to be someone who can bet for you.

Seems harsh. Guy is going to lose a year of his career for making bets.
I wonder if bet on games he was in. That might pose a problem but if he was betting on other sports, then this is overkill.
