Im here in one of my favorite places. Bavet , Campuchia, it’s a border town with over 40 casinos. Only two of them are regulated with licenses. This is an SEZ zone. 0 police presence. This is where the Vietnamese workers escaped harsh working conditions and were chased cabs beaten. One died in the river escaping. You can’t use a credit card at any hotels here. Listen to this weird thing. There is not one ATM in any hotel or casino. You have to go to the actual banks 10 minutes out of town. It’s in Cambodia but they use their own currency of course but primarily VND , Việt currency. The language spoken here is Việt as well as all the stores and restaurants. The felts one the card tables are in Chinese and Vietnamese. It’s not catered to westerners, all run by Chinese mafia. Vietnamese have come here in the past and have been murdered in and outside the casinos. Here is a video of the Vietnamese escaping. This place doesn’t have the illegal wildlife trade like the places I go to in Laos and Myanmar but human trafficking is huge here. You see them jump in the river. One youth died. Massage is misspelled too. You see this stuff all over

Yes, maybe even more than America, it is a big big thing here. Gold shops everywhere.

Human trafficking is the worst and highest form of human life violation. Murder/homicide, yes of course, but at least we know that these crimes resulted from conflicts, but human trafficking? It's taking advantage of the weak. It's the only crime I want to have the death penalty punishment.

Every city has many huge shopping malls. They are all extremely nice and lots of activities for kids. The one I’m in now is underground , has a bowling alley, bumper cars, bowling alley , movie theaters and an ice skating rink. They are playing hockey now. We have over 20 huge malls like this and they are building more.
