This happened a few years ago here. But they always happen, this one just made the news. I was in a raid 2 years ago at one in the west. Pretty scary situation, but at the end of the day the police came to get money out of it. They did threaten me there by saying a foreigner shouldn't be there etc etc... No, they are not there to clean it up they make waves and want money. Just like all the karaoke's here are fronts for hookers, they all need to pay to stay in business, if they dont pay they get raided. The police just want money. It is about $200 I gave them..... they told me I was the first foreigner they have ever seen at the chicken fights hahah, I was in a real rural area.... money takes care of everything here on every level. it is great, I love it.
