If anyone has paid any attention to my thread they know that I think Thailand is a shit country and it is for losers, but it has a lot of them. There are no more visa runs anymore, thousands are not able to come back in anymore, the days of staying in a country for 3 months flying somewhere and coming back in a few days are over. Those were the glory days. Thailand is near the bottom of my list of all 11 SEA countries. Banking is very tricky, residency has changed the game now, I think it is a good thing because all the losers coming to SEA staying for 3 months and coming right back are over. 99% of youtubers making videos of how things work are also incorrect. Vietnam #1, Cambodia #2, Myanmar #3, Laos #4, Singapore #5, Malaysia #6, Indonesia #7, Philippines #8, East Timor #9, Thailand #10, Brunei #11

That's what many people think but you can still do a visa run at least twice a year in Thailand. Also, you can simply fly out of the country and come back the same day. Safe entry service.

Depending upon what you are looking for, Phuket is a nice alternative to Bangkok. It's a tropical island versus a large city.

But I know a lot of people that like the large city because of all the conveniences and it's generally cheaper than Phuket since Phuket is touristy. A lot of people that like it also stay in expat bubbles where they can get their Western food and talk to other Westerners.

If I am in Thailand and want to go to the beach , I prefer to go to Koh Samui. Very nice there.

In not into the look of Thai hyna’s. They have the “jungle” look cheekbone structure. Very different than the rest of SEA. Sure , some can be really hot but for the most part they aren’t. Plus, most are covered in terrible Isaan tattoos.
