Because they know the majority of the foreigners that go there are losers and sex tourists. I would scam them too if I was a Thai.

No. Completely different. Thailand is the world capital for sex tourism. Good luck on getting a girlfriend there without it being transactional. Sure it does happen but few and far between. Two completely different cultures and mindsets. Not even close to the same in any fashion. It’s toward the bottom of my list of 11 SEA countries.
