Fly, does anyone still call HCMC Saigon?
Yes, of course, many people do. I would 50/50 but to this day there is still a little hatred between some people from the North and South. It is really like two different places. The vibe, culture, style, everything is very different in HCMC, it is much better where I am. The north is much better in every single way. God Bless you , Tankster.

Fly, I apologize. I was a asleep but I was dreaming about the song and when I saw your post this morning, the first thing I did was sing.
The fact that @BMR Genie did not sing yet is very disturbing to be honest. I might be blocking her for 4 hours, I really don't want to , but it is very disrespectful to not show support and love for Uncle Ho when asked.

Looks like a few factors led to a record low dong, and it's creating snowball effect.

International investors not liking the future exchange rate outlook and Vingroup being a mlajor player in investment outflows.

Vietnam still strong domestically, but if your dong drops below your knees, many will be impressed at the length, but if it your Dong can't get up, it's just not worth much.

"Can't make butter with a toothpick, now what I'm sayin'?"

I don't need google. I have Fly.

Besides I doubt Google tells me why people in SEA eat it when they are sick.
Fly didn't know. Genie did though.

I just changed one word from your own sentence and this is what I found:

why people in SEA eat congee when they are sick

People in Southeast Asia eat congee when they are sick because it is a warm, easily digestible comfort food that provides hydration and energy without taxing the digestive system. This tradition is also rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which has influenced dietary practices across the region.

We have stuff we eat in Vietnam if you are sick, it is comparable to that. We eat Cháo.
Vietnamese people often eat cháo (rice porridge) and pho (noodle soup) when they are sick, as these dishes are warm, easy to digest, and contain ingredients that provide comfort and aid in recovery. Cháo, a simple rice and water-based soup, is particularly soothing and nourishing for a weakened digestive system, while pho's warm broth, aromatic spices like ginger and star anise, and clear broth can help clear congestion, soothe a sore throat, and warm the body.
