This is the lake that John McCain got shot down in , Trúc Bạch lake. The first picture is a plaque in front of the lake and that is supposed to be him portrayed. He came back to Hà Nội years later and met the men that pulled him out of the lake. It’s surrounded by apartments, restaurants, bars, etc
