it is Friday night here, I leave on Sunday. but tomorrow I need to pack and buy gifts for friends. I always take a whole suitcase of gifts back for people. I went really hard in Campuchia for a week. Looking forward in seeing my dad and hanging out and relaxing. It could be a number of things, I didn't ask what is in it "yet"

He looked like he was emotionally ill or upset. He didn't seem to be normal.

Then the comment say about how he was warned not to go into certain dangerous areas of the Philippines in the south and he ignored those warnings.

Maybe Genie can chime in here and tell us. I think she's from Mindinao and parts of that island are dangerous.

I have been to Mindinao 5 times. I have a good friend from Santa Barbara that lives there. Parts of it are dangerous but most of it is very nice and safe. There used to be Taliban there and other very dangerous aspects of it.
