How many football teams are there in Vietnam, Fly?
This is the domestic league V league (14 teams), I often post the national team but they are on a break for a while. There are 4 leagues within V league. The games I go to are V league 1. There are lines for V league 1 and 2 at books and the Vietnamese books have V league 3. They are really fun games to go to. Fans get into it. I am going to Hai Phong tomorrow, this is what goes on at their games, at 54 seconds you see all the fire... but as you can see the fans get into it, but in Hanoi you will never see flares or fires at games like in Hai Phong, Hai Phong is known for Mafia and they hate people from Hanoi and Hanoi people hate them, hahah

That's quite a lot. So Hanoi fans are the "boring" ones and Hai Phong fans are the "cool" ones. I like the fire and the balloons, it makes the experience more memorable.
Hanoi fans are called "Contras" I am one of them, there are different sections for the supporters, we have tried flares but the police and fireman are there and put them right out. Hanoi is the capital and they don't let stuff like that go on. But an hour and a half away anything goes! Haha, the fans in Hai Phong are crazy and so are the people. Sometimes when I am there they will say something to me because I am a foreigner and the last thing they ever expect is me to answer them and know what they said as I am talking to them in Vietnamese, they just have a stunned look on their face, haha

Learning the language of one's Country always saves you from trouble, and yeah it makes sense now why it's not allowed in Hanoi, those fires can start a disaster and we don't want to burn down the capital if ever. haha

Yes it does ( learning the language) or can get me into trouble. Because I have no filter and hold nothing back. Sometimes can get me in sticky situations! When I get pulled over by the police I play like I have no idea what they are saying and give them $5-10 and get on my way. Haha.

I love living in a corrupt country. Money takes care of everything on every level. I had to go to the DMV for a renewal. I couldn’t pass the vision test and slipped 500k ($21) with my application and the guy passed me. If I did that in America I might get arrested.

What a day! Just got home from another V league game. So in Hanoi we have 3 teams that represent the city. I am a die hard Hanoi FC fan but tonight Viettel played Nam Định, Viettel is another team in Hanoi. I want you guys to picture this scene, it was surreal. So Nam Định is about 90km away about an hour and 20 minutes away. It is an awesome place and their fans travel well. The game was at 7:15pm and this afternoon, come barreling in the streets of Hanoi was their caravan on the way to the game. These are some great pictures. you expect to see this in their own city but not here in Hanoi.. Amazing and fun night and game!

Great photos indeed. I wonder how the traffic enforcer handles the traffic during this caravan.
