Côn Đảo is fun but much better options for beaches but if you have never been it’s worth it. Rent a motorbike and go up in the hills , you will see wild monkeys all over the road. Wear repellent Dengue fever is at an all time high in Việt Nam now. I ended up in the hospital last year. Lots of deaths lately from it. Cần Thơ is an amazing place and lots of fun. Are you going through Bavet to go to Campuchia? Or are you flying in ? I suggest going through Bavet and exploring the border town. Campuchia is my 2nd favorite country. I love it there. Im a huge fan of Sihanoukville, it’s dangerous there so be aware. Kampot and Krong Kaeb are amazing. Koh Rong is very fun too. It just depends what you like and what you are into. I highly advise to go to Myanmar and Laos if you are in the area. I like the dangerous , dirty , grimy stuff so not sure what you like. Have fun.

As of now we are doing Saigon to Con Dao, then will be going to Can Tho, and then to Chau Doc. After that we go to a small town outside Phenom Phen and then eventually Phenom Phen. We were going to do Kampot but wanted to cut down on all the travel distance.

I’m going to look into the other places you mentioned. Our trip is already planned, but will probably do another trip in the next couple years. I really want to check out Laos, maybe next trip.

Have a nice time in China, that’s on my list, possibly next year for me. I’ve heard Chongqing is suppose to be really cool. You can be on the 20th floor then go to the other side of the building and be on street level. Looking forward to seeing your photos, that entire city lights up at night.

ChongQing is the coolest city in China. I like it better than Shenzhen. Lots of illegal gambling places too. Hot chicks all over and an unreal nightlife. You travel different than me. I don’t plan anything I just go. If you want any help just let me know.
