It does not apply if you work for a private company you can say whatever you want without repercussions or getting fired

Even public jobs there’s repercussions

People are starting to get mixed up about that
That does not really apply for you here at BMR though does it ? I would say they are very lenient even with the things I say. They just clean it up or move it & move on. Which is a good thing we have going here at BMR. Don’t feel too cuckhold with my words here & can speak my mind without being canceled.

It'll probably be political before the day ends.
Too late the forumville stiff is using his freedom of speech right to voice his opinions already.

Freedom of speech - just like we are all free from slavery.

Of course when you sign up for a job - you give away some rights as condition of employment.

Most employers will treat you like their paid for slave and most will take your freedom of speech - even off the clock.

19 years ago I had an employer threaten to fire me - over participating in a Yahoo message board about our industry. Called me in and said I’m not allowed to discuss ANYTHING they did not approve of (turns out some asshat found my name - found out where I worked and called to complain about me).

That showed me right there how few rights we really have as working stiffs. You can do whatever you like - but it’s a much tougher road if you go down that path.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

yes free from limitations due to legalities but not free from private repercussions

for instance a guy like JJ couldnt get arrested for saying something random like "suck my dick lou"

but crazyl could ban him from a site like SBR for breaking terms of service

People are starting to get mixed up about that

lmao

Starting? Seems like people have been getting it wrong for a long time.

Blame it on our education system, and to a lesser extent blame it on the first ammendment that allows so many to spread mis and dis information, which people believe to a a lack of education.

It is what it is and it will always be that way.
