That does not really apply for you here at BMR though does it ? I would say they are very lenient even with the things I say. They just clean it up or move it & move on. Of course when you sign up for a job - you give away some rights as condition of employment.

Most employers will treat you like their paid for slave and most will take your freedom of speech - even off the clock.

19 years ago I had an employer threaten to fire me - over participating in a Yahoo message board about our industry. Called me in and said I’m not allowed to discuss ANYTHING they did not approve of (turns out some asshat found my name - found out where I worked and called to complain about me).

That showed me right there how few rights we really have as working stiffs. You can do whatever you like - but it’s a much tougher road if you go down that path.

Blame it on our education system, and to a lesser extent blame it on the first ammendment that allows so many to spread mis and dis information, which people believe to a a lack of education.
