He really was a genuinely nice person. I can't speak for his brother as I knew him solely as soccer player. Diogo was a family man who married his childhood sweetheart and had 3 children with his new bride. There won't be any scandalous reports of drugs or alcohol in the accident report. He didn't drive recklessly " endangering innocent lives ". He was on his way to catch a ferry to England early in the morning when his tire burst.
It's sad that someone would attempt to paint his legacy with a dark brush. He was a good human being who deserves our respect.
