English fans take it as life and death. When your team is on a bad run , you get abuse from neighbours , family members , co-workers......
You have to attend a game one day , they sing the entire time ( and the lyrics are downright nasty )

Champions League Group stage continues today and tomorrow. Some great match ups with 2 heavy weights meeting today in London , Chelsea vs Barcelona as THE game to watch. Locking this one in as i believe the total gets bet down as we near kick off :
Marseille vs Newcastle : 3pm

Newcastle have used a 4-3-3 formation in all 4 group games to date. It puts pressure on the back 4 of the opposition in hopes of creating turn overs. It also creates plenty of odd man counter attacks if you can play the ball through the pressure. With Marseille its been a different approach , as they have used a 5-4-1 defensive formation while playing @ Real Madrid ( a 2 - 1 loss ) and the aggressive 4-3-3 @ home to Ajax ( 4 - 0 win ). Marseille are in desperate need of a result today , as they are on the outside looking in on advancement. I expect both sides to find the net today and the total to be exceeded.
