Found money ....again?

Don't know if anyone remember me starting a thread about accidental bonus money found. Just weird how this kinda shit happens to me lol. Was at my local casino the other day cashing my voucher at the cash out machine. I see a bill jammed sticking out and of course turned in to casino management. Did I do right?

This is the second time this has happened to me. This is off hours hardly any patrons in the casino so no idea how long it was sitting there lol.

I thought this was going to be another video about JJ finding money in a sock in his aunt’s attic

No I don’t, you are just giving the casino free money. On top of already the rigged games they offer.

In the past I have found licenses,wallets,phones,chips,and cash. I have either turned in all to lost & found or pointed these out to the owner or security except for cash and chips that clearly did not belong to anyone in the area.
Sorry I will not fill the casino coffers anymore than what the greedy bastards already obtain from degenerate customers. I kept the cash. I would never turn it in to the evil empire.

Right around 1998 when I started betting offshore, I went to the bank to withdraw $2500 to deposit. No idea how, but somehow I dropped my wallet in the bank with that amount before I even reached the exit. I remember running back to the bank thinking there's less than 0% chance someone found it & turned it in. Lo & behold a customer service rep. told me an elderly lady actually did just that telling me how unbelievable lucky I was. 25 years later turns out he couldn't have been more wrong. Who knows, had she kept it I might've taken that as a sign to cut my losses & never deposit against saving at least half a million in the process. Gambling leads to nothing but regret & misery even if you just hit a 217-1 shot. Case in point..

Agreed..sounds like she's about to be majorly addicted to chasing a 5 figure payout she feels she screwed herself out of. She should instead be thrilled to hit such a longshot at a totally reasonable $5 bet considering those odds.

I would check to see if the money belongs to someone if they are nearby actually looking for it.
Returning it to the casino and asking them to find the owner means, they just kept it.

Unless they have their name on it how does one know whom the money actually belongs to? If I see them drop it I tell that person. Otherwise it's finders keepers.
