Was listening to ESPN radio this weekend and they were interviewing CBB coaches about why so few cinderellas. 2 of them said, its the transfer portal and NIL.

Kids are not staying with smaller/mid-major schools that they start with. Its too easy to move up to the big teams. So in the past when a smaller school had a great class come in as freshman they could develop them and maybe be a Butler, St. Petes, or Loyola-Chicago. Now they transfer and smaller schools get screwed. They said to expect fewer and fewer cinderellas going forward.

Didn't even plan to post much as I was busy coming up with the plays.

Normally I don't like to post plays without all that detailed tracking, like at SBR. That can be extra work.

So often I'm just in threads, sprinkling my action about.

There was an Ark/St John's thread. Then the Uconn thread. And when I'm just on a roll posting or analyzing, it seems to end up in the Candy thread, much like FlyMe at SBR.

It can be rare that I start a play thread anymore, and even more rare that I track a full season. I did a lot of that over thousands of plays at SBR.

I'm not known for seeking that attention, so you just never know when I'm going to start a posting run, usually in some thread someone starts.
