Fast food recommendations?

well, i finally had my first fast food in quite a while - 2 Big Macs and 1 Large Fry

the Big Macs were from two different MickeyD's locations so i'm thinking their quality must be the same across the board but i could be wrong

the Big Macs felt smaller than years back, were thin on meat, lukewarm in temp, rather dry, and really smashed down in height. the large fries were good overall but were only half way filled

i would not recommend the Big Mac at this time unless you get it with extra sauce (and even that might not give you a satisfying experience overall). it's really not filling when it comes down to it since it's mostly bun

soon i will be trying Wendy's bacon, egg, and cheese morning biscuits which are on a $1 promo right now. i also intend to try one of their higher end burgers based on what Rudy said and a BK Whopper as well

Man, McD's quality has gone so far downhill. Their patties are always so dry. Remember back in the day when they used to be juicy? Now they're pieces of leather. the quarter lb'er and double quarter lb'er have some juice to em, but still nothing like in the past.

My go-to there is either filet o' fish or good ole nuggets. Fav thing there is Sausage, egg and cheese mcgriddle.

But i tend to avoid McD's. So many other better options.

yeah i haven't had the double qtr pounder in quite some time but always remembered it being a lot more hearty than a Big Mac. i think that's the only burger i might try of theirs again along with the nuggets and fries. i use to love their hot mustard dipping sauce for the nuggets but i think i remember it since being discontinued?

Stick with McDonalds but order onion rings from BK.

- are Wendy's burgers any good? i know they do the square patty thing but not sure if that makes them bad?

They are good but the nuggets are the best, and their fries are more consistent than the occasional soggy McDonalds fies. However as you probably know nothing beats freshly cooked piping hot McDonalds fries.

- is Carl's Jr still good these days? i remember both their burgers and fries being pretty good maybe 20 years ago or so?

I would object to it ever being good but you may be older than me.

- is Jack in the Box still really bad? i vividly remember their hamburger patties tasting awful and so i would only get odd things like tacos, fries, and taquitos from them

I loved it when I had one near me, but it was a number two type option. Or really number three. You gotta try Whataburger.

- are Popeye's fries any good? is their chicken sandwich still selling out everywhere or is that fad over?
No and no. The sandwich is good though.

- what about Wienerschnitzel? are their chili dogs and corn dogs any good?
Never heard of it.

Roy, Chick-fil-A spicy chicken sandwich is what you want. That with the chicken noodle soup is very good. Best service anywhere as well.

I use apps as much as I can. Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s to name a few. So much more convenient to order on the go and have it waiting for me when I arrive. Not to mention the reward points/perks you receive

I have a few of the fast food apps loaded and usually just go with the best offers. Wendy’s tends to win out the most on their rewards and variety.
