i haven't had fast food in a long time but feel like gorging on some
i went to Wendy's the other day to try their "new" fries - basically they're just natural fries with the skin still on the ends - they were edible but not good enough to go back for again. nor were they crispy like advertised. their commercial states that people prefer their fries "2 to 1 over McDonalds" and there's just no way that's true
for burgers, i like the Whopper and Double Cheeseburger from BK and the Big Mac and Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese from Mickey D's. for chicken items, i like Mickey D's McNuggets and BK's original chicken sandwich.
for fries, i strongly favor Mickey D's over anyone else's but i would like to find other good fries
i'm not interested in the higher-end burger places like Five Guys, Shake Shack, Smash Burger, Fatburger, In and Out, etc. i just want to know if any of the regular fast food places are making anything good these days.
- should i just stick to what i know (McDonalds and BK) or are there other places who make similar burgers and fries that taste better?
- are Wendy's burgers any good? i know they do the square patty thing but not sure if that makes them bad?
- is Carl's Jr still good these days? i remember both their burgers and fries being pretty good maybe 20 years ago or so?
- is Jack in the Box still really bad? i vividly remember their hamburger patties tasting awful and so i would only get odd things like tacos, fries, and taquitos from them
- are Popeye's fries any good? is their chicken sandwich still selling out everywhere or is that fad over?
- what about Wienerschnitzel? are their chili dogs and corn dogs any good?
