I want to make some proposals soon for at least 2-3 leagues but need suggestions on how to make it fair. There will be way more than 30 that will want to enter. Should we hold a contest to get in?? Go by post count to reward loyal posters that have been with us?? Appreciate all suggestions and setting recommendations

i'd like to
There will be. I just need ideas on who gets in. It won't be a popularity contest like other places but loyal posters should get the edge IMO since it would be a free bitcoin contest. So maybe a preseason contest with top 30 or so getting a team and maybe those with higher post counts get an advantage in the contest. That seems to be the most fair option right now. looking for more suggestions

I looked on yahoo last night only see 10 team. I will research others. Either way there are always peeps left out. I just want to make it as fair as possible but giving an edge to those that contribute here daily
CBS is 12 teams max
ESPN is also 12 teams max

we could do more then 1 if we have more then 12 members wanting to play

Just gonna write in proposal highest post counts get dibs on entries if we don't come up with something. There are never enough open slots when it comes to fantasy football pools.

If you want to limit the number of people have buy ins. If you are going to give away money and you can't accomodate people, you need another contest.
These are just added in smaller contests I would like. I want every freaking football contest possible. We can't do post-up as no one is holding funds. The pay leagues are great option since it eliminates that BUT many states do not allow Fantasy.

You should probably stick to a major contest. That is what people generally like.

So if you want more entries just open more leagues, have a dummy draft for the open spots if necessary and include those people in the standings for another league. If you cannot have one league, it is a pretty bad idea. Not so bad if people are doing it on their own but bad for a sponsored contest.

Now this is the suggestion I was looking for. Maybe even have me commissioner of every one an add in a bonus prize for those that "beat the SleeStak" whether overall or per match-up.
Yeah, the only problem I would see is if you have a league that does not fill those people would have an advantage but that could be solved with dummy fill ins and dummy drafts that were auto drafts or someone picking the teams to fill the gaps. Then just throw those out.
