Wife & I are doing our own “mini” Thanksgiving tomorrow - Turkey & turkey gravy, REAL green bean casserole, and mashed sweet potatoes - I’ll post some pics. Then, we’re responsible for the Mac & Cheese for Saturday - that’s their big holiday get-together day. I’ll probably put it all together Friday, then bring it down & cook it at my sister’s house…..

After the kids left the house and it was just the wife and I at Thanksgiving, sometimes we'd just cook two cornish hens since it would take weeks to eat an 18 lb turkey.

Wife came up with sweet mashed potatoes because she doesn’t like the sticky sweet marshmallow classic yams - we usually whip them with butter, cream, salt, and maybe like pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, cloves, & nutmeg…..
