Is there an influx of new bettors into the college basketball markets now that college football has ended?
Picked up the flu, might need ma to go on another dispo run soon
Conference play brings an influx and some of that is pretty sharp money.
Does public money jump from football to basketball? Probably. When it comes to market moving money they are situated already, if they do multiple sports.
Public might be thirsty, though, and it's a relatively new public, so they likely will hit hoops because it's next.
So overall I think it does bring an influx but I think that influx is broad and over the rest of the season.
It's not the same as the short term influx the happens on, say a s Saturday before the Super Bowl. I think you will see more inefficiencies, or some bigger inefficiencies, with the short term influx.
It's harder to measure and see the shift from football to basketball for some bettors, it just seems more general.
