It wouldn't surprise me if this was a prank on somebody. The picture is of a guy wearing a sikh turban. Sikh's are not violent and don't walk around with machine guns, but there are plenty of ignoramuses out there that would think it's a picture of a muslim and want to mess with the car and/or driver because of it.

I read that witnesses heard an explosion and that a wing had been shorn off. IMO that sounds more like an explosion from a bomb rather than a mechanical failure.

I saw a video of the plane coming down on telegram.
One wing was missing and it was smoking as it dropped out of the sky.

Some pics of the wreckage before the gov't cleared the area showed the remaining wing had what looked like several large caliber holes through it.
