Reminds me of a disgusting incident.

We're at an Astros game in the Astrodome. They had cow troughs for urinials all along the walls.
The lines to the pisser were deep and so was the piss in the urinals. A guy was talking on his cell phone as he took a leak and dropped it in the urinal completely sinking it in the pool of piss. Mind you these were old school flip phone in the 1990s. Not the water resistant types we have now.

He reached in and plucked it out. I was thinking, no way. --> I'd have just said screw it and got a new phone.

Would you get your phone if that happened to you?

Depends how drunk I was, would have to be a quick drop and retrieve. Was it submerged in piss ? I remember those freebase urinals at Joe Robbie Stadium aka Hard Rock Stadium had no idea that was the actual term for them lol.

Hell yeah. The drains were semi-plugged up with toilet paper and paper towls so it was a few inches deep in that cow trough. You had to aim well to avoid splashing the piss up out of the trough.

The guy was 2 people down from me and he screamed when it fell into the trough.
I remember it well. It left a psychological mark. I think of it anytime I see a cow trough.

A few years ago I was up in Tahoe at Harrah's and I walk in the bathroom and there's some dude with his phone in pieces trying to dry it out. Now that I think about, it might have been a flip phone because the back was off, battery out, etc. and he had it all over counter on paper towels.
