You think they get 1 ?Oh this has all the makings of a 7-1 game
My parents came to Canada in the mid 50's. They were just small kids during the war and left Berlin for Canada's east coast. The plan at the time was to settle in NY , but an immediate job offer north of Toronto sealed the deal. My wife is also Canadian born with a similar story with her parents. Both were born and raised in Southern Germany and came over to Canada in the 50's. With duel citizenship available , all our kids have 2 passports. Part of my heart belongs in Europe , not to mention the 100% bloodline. Not sure why but I really like the German national anthem. Also love that the crowd sings it loudly and proudly.
Maybe I like it because its buried deep in my genes (100% German/Luxembourg heritage). Great grand-parents from both sides moved to the US.
@Franz555 you said you are Canadian correct, or are you just a "displaced" German now living in Canada?
3 games tomorrow...ESTWhat do you have for tomorrow Franz?
Any thoughts yet?
To win Euro 24 : Portugal @ 7/1 ( 1 unit )
June 14 : Germany vs Scotland : 3pm
Germany 1st half @ 1.75 ( 2 units )
Germany -1.5 @ 1.82 ( 1 unit )
Tailing over 2 -122.Overall : 2 - 0 ( + 3.32 units )
Hungary vs Switzerland : 9am
Over 2 @ 1.88 ( 2 units )
Switzerland are carrying several players that exceed the age of 30. In soccer that age bracket is playing the back 9 in their careers. I was miffed to see Shaqiri ( 32 ) included in the squad , having played limited minutes for Chicago in the MLS. Hungary may be the up and comer of the 2 , as key players are finding starting roles across Europe's major leagues. The big concern is the health of Hungary's captain and star player Dominik Szoboszlai of Liverpool, who came off the field in their last friendly against Israel. He is not listed with any injury concerns that I could find , so I will assume he is a healthy go today. The weather in Cologne is 19c / 66f at kickoff
Thanks GenieDay 2! Good luck, Frans and all.
