I liked Ukraine going into this tourney. Shocked at Romania shutting them down altogether. Slovenia have put 2 nice efforts in. Based on that I would back Slovenia

I like Portugal in this game but I did read from Diamond Jack across the street he thought Turkey would get at least one. He is doing well on Euro games and played the BTTS as well so I tailed.

All the soccer pundits seem to think Turkey can play Portugal to a draw. I didn't get the chance to watch any of the match between Georgia and Turkey, although the score seemed inflated @ 3 - 1. The stats suggest it was a very close game and Georgia missed a number of chances. Portugal dominated the Czech Rep , who scored on their only chance. Portugal had 69% possession and managed 75 attacks vs 19 for the Czech's. I consider The Czech Rep to be a better side then Turkey and Portugal are light years ahead of Georgia. Even in a steady downpour , Portugal looked crisp with their ball movement. Its 23c / 73f and partial cloud in Dortmund tomorrow. I just think they control the game from start to finish

Crazy how different a game looks when you score immediately. Still, Ukraine (and my 13-1 shot) have a chance here. They must play to win, because Romania and Slovakia are bringing B-squads and playing out a scoreless draw. Just because they can!

Thats why I put Ukraine ? Your post was made just before Belgium played Romania. Sorry we disagree but I think Belgium will beat Ukraine and the Romania vs Slovakia will be for a chance to advance. Both " A " teams will be fighting to the death for a chance to play another day

Not too sure about Scotland. They haven't really impressed me yet. Even the draw against Switzerland was all they could have hoped for. The game against Hungary is 50/50 imo. I lean to Hungary but respect the Scottish will to battle on.

I just made the one bet on Portugal to win it all @ 8.00 / + 700. Spain was my 2nd choice. I passed on them just because of the Group of Death vs a very easy group for Portugal. Spain look the best to me so far. Portugal , France and Germany played well , and England have disappointed. Italy and Netherlands have shown flashes of great football but unable to maintain it for an entire game. Denmark are the dark horse who have played sound and consistent football to date. Just my 2 cents
