If we flip a coin, you take one side and I take the other, and we each put down $1.00, then after a ton of flips we should be about even.

But if you have to put down $1.05 to my $1.00, then I say flip the coin as many times as we can. I don't care if I have heads or tails, I care that I stand to win the $1.05 to my $1.00 on the flip.

If Iowa wins the West, Kirk should be Big 10 Coach of the Year. Contrast to Wisconsin. Badgers have a much more talented roster but came up short.
