Maybe it's longer than a couple days

I don't keep track. But I need to figure out something to combat the freezer burn. Any suggestions?
Some thoughts on this...
Store it in the back, where it's coldest.
Everytime you open the freezer door you cause a temp change that could be leading to freezer burn. So you open your freezer a lot or keep the ice cream out of the freezer for a while before putting it back?
Maybe pull the ice cream out, put some in a bowl, and get the container back into freezer quickly.
WIth containers like the Waffle one, you might try putting some parchment paper or plastic wrap over it before putting the lid back on, to make a tighter seal. You could even put the paper or wrap right down on the surface of the ice cream.
I'd probably not touch the ice cream with the plastic though, but it's probably not abig deal.
The way you're leaving it in the freezer that I am guessing you open often probably just put it in the back of the freezer and you'll be good.
