He was extremely drunk (0.20 blood alcohol leve) and had drugs in his system... was walking down the interstate at 6:30 in the morning... wandered out into a traffic lane and was struck by a truck and killed.

Yeap, it's definitely a confusing, but I haven't come across any information about blackmail either, so I'm not sure where that's coming from. It sounds like his wife is suing multiple parties, including the hotel, restaurants, truck driver, trucking company, individuals, and a golf range, which does seem like a lot of people to hold responsible. It's understandable to feel that Dwayne himself bears some responsibility, considering he was reportedly intoxicated( It's unfortunate that it has resulted in legal actions...
