This game was an anomaly in many ways.

What was the reason for the refs to force Hurts out of the game?

Concussion? But Hurts told the refs he ws ok.

Refs kicked him out anyway.

Eagles force 5 turnovers.....still lose.

With Hurts gone, Washington could key on Barkley since Pickett is no threat to run.

Eagles should have won by two touchdowns easily.

Eagles will now have to go the hard route to the Super Bowl.

No Hurts though means no dual run threat from the QB position.

It means the defense can focus on Barkley without having to worry about Hurts taking off and running, the one thing he does well.

As you saw, the defense shut Barkley down after the 1st quarter.
