I’ll do a couple - mainly for the promotions that follow and not thinking I have a chance.

Keeps you active on the mailing list for books you don’t use regularly.

Will do one with my work as well - fade all the local teams and traditional powerhouse names hoping to pick up points fast.

Only benefit of having worked for a Berkshire Hathaway company in years past was the bracket challenge. At one time Warren Buffet guaranteed 1 BILLLION to any employee who picked a perfect bracket. It’s been changed now to I think 1 million a year for life. Never felt comfortable with that award - so you have a multi million dollar contract basically on your life and the sooner you’re dead - the less they have to pay you.

They are fun to play when free - but anyone betting serious money on brackets and not individual games is pissing away cash in my opinion. Way too many variables at play and unless you get points for picking the upsets - it’s tough to separate yourself from the pack.

#4 :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

"During March Madness, corporate losses due to unproductive workers can reach an estimated $20 billion, with employees spending an average of 2.4 hours per day checking scores and tracking brackets, or even calling in sick to watch games. "

I think there is a typo in #5

Estimated value of the University of Ohio basketball program— highest among all schools (generating a revenue of $24M).

University of Ohio basketball program is a mid-major school. Think they maybe were referencing Ohio State? Even then I would say Duke or UNC programs bring more revenue.

Looks like you're correct, Tank.
