This might be his last “hurrah” - and going in as a wild card on the road. These “running” QB’s (see Lamar - who’s out) have a short shelf life. Cam Newton was probably the best - those first 6 or so years at Carolina - and that was it. Either Josh Allen wins it all - or he joins Lamar as the next crop of “Russell Wilson’s”…..

How many opportunities does one guy get?

Time don't stop and the NFL waits for no one.

There's a whole new crop of QBs coming into the league looking to put their stamp on the league.

The new generation.

We might have witnessed the end of the KC era. Mahomes losing the Super Bowl and then suffering a catastrophic injury.

Guys like Ward, Dart, Nix, Daniels, Sanders, and now Mendoza and Moore.

These guys want to make their mark.

It's a whole new ball game in many ways and we're all witnesses.

plenty of room.

I mean we saw Philip Rivers, joe flacco, jameis, spencer rattler get lots of meaningful snaps this year

Something is missing from Allen.

Hard to quantify but with game on the line, he frequently makes the wrong decision.

I was listening to a Buffalo station the other day and and the question they asked was
'which would you feel more comfortable with, with two minutes to go down by 3 but Bills have the ball or up by three and the opponent has the ball'

To my surprise neither option garnered much enthusiasm. Even the fact that they posed such a question tells me that even die hard Bills fans feel that Allen's game is missing something.

On the other hand if the Bills go on a heater (on offense and defense) they always have a punchers chance with Allen

It was rarely turnovers. I think in the last 10 playoff games or so, Allen has like 1 turnover total.

The TD to TO ratio is off the charts. Probably the greatest ever.

Its him not scoring enough the last time he has the ball is the issue
He has 4 I think but point taken — stats have been good

But a lot of his stats have been accumulated in Wild Card round blowouts against shitty teams (relatively) . Bills have beaten some bad quarterbacks in the first round

He’s performed worse against the better competition though obviously has had some good games too even in defeat
