No because they would have had a better SOS. I know a lot of people think that the SEC doesn't play anybody OOC but going up against the other teams in the SEC and winning the SEC championship is what got Bama in. The ACC is weak in general so FSU didn't look as strong but again it is what it is and FSU got unfairly punished for not having Jordan Travis.

Sucks for FSU but the reality is if they played Bama then I think Bama would be favored. It is silly when you think about the fact that there are 5 power conferences for 4 spots. Ironically now gonna be fewer conferences with more spots
SEC was 7-9 vs power conferences. Historically it has been the best conference, but not sure this year it was. Florida State 2-0 vs SEC , including destroying the Heisman winner
