Right now it’s probably tighter than ever. Everyone’s just copying each other or staying within razor thin margins of each other.

I used to love those days -190+210

Or a couple points on the spreads

Or 2 to 5 point total difference

There’s really not much line shopping anymore unless betting openers

Does anyone notice how bad everyone was bitching about USA books during their first day on the job basically and now if you go offshore points spreads are juiced to the max and USA is beating their ass?. Live menus offshore? LMAO I have seen BAS post live total with -150 juice on both sides on SEVERAL occaisions. Go checkout some first H point spread juice offshore. woof!!! Now USA is absolutely beating the shit out of offshore as far as options. Offshore won't let you parlay f*** anything compared to USA. Now we got BIG DON in the office we need to be supporting our USA books more than ever.

It's not like the 90's JJ when you can line shop and find differences between offshore books. Those were the good old days. There are still some opportunities out there but they are far and few between

On a side note Bookmaker did one of those line changes on me last night when I put the Mavs in at +3 I got the line changed to 2.5 and of course I went with it like a dumbass.

It’s very vanilla in general as you have 4 books that the major bettors play at - with so few shops attracting major action - and many smaller shops outsourced to one of a few providers - your going to see many lines within a few cents.

That said - it’s been a LONG time since you could make a 5 cent arbitrage on a game regularly anywhere. Dime lines are available only at a few places. 20-30 cent lines are the norm at the apps these days - who will incentivize you in with “boost” vs offering every day low pricing.

In its prime - an otherwise average trader with funding could eke out a small profit regularly just trading on matchbook. Using matchbook along with 2 or 3 other shops you could make $300-800 a week with no risk aside from the risk of a shop closing with your funds.

Today - it’s just harder - but not impossible. Basketball and baseball are the greatest opportunities - but you gotta be quick and well funded.
