I used to win in totals every year except for 2020 and last year when I broke even.

My system was to look at the total in game 2 of each series. If the total was lower than the previous game, take the under. The same was true of game 3 of the series. It went under about 60% of the time.

The 2020 season was a bit weird but last season the books must have caught on because the totals for those games were about 1/2 run lower than previous years.

It's no longer valid.

Notice in my last sentence that the books have either caught on or their algorithm has changed to account for this system since the totals for these types of games are now 1/2 run lower. The success rate for this system during the 2022 season was about 50%.

That's the thing with systems. The books adjust how they make a line or a total so a system may no longer be valid

I have a saying: "A system is only valid until it isn't."

I never realized they are the same price on the dogs side that’s an interesting angle to potentially take advantage of.
