That hasn't worked for the Yankees but it sure does work for the Dodgers. Their front office has them permanantly staying on top. I hate them because they're my favorite teams rival but they're the best for a reason they get the best talent out there when other teams strike out on getting that talent.

Snell is kinda washed

Snell had a great second half once he got healthy. It just got lost in the fact that the Giants were awful last season. Snell will thrive on the Dodgers because he won't be run into the ground and he doesn't have to feel like he has to carry the team because they're so good.

They did have 4 consecutive ROY in late 90s that got them nothing

agreed, seems like a solid fit for the next 2-3 seasons. durability is always a bit of a worry with Snell, but he had a 2.57 Xera last season and has proven to be an ace quality arm when healthy.
