the 10 or 12 times I’ve done it it’s cost me money 75 percent of the time and saved me money 25 percent

Definitely a losing proposition long term to cash out

And when the book gets an advantage on your wager oftentimes cash out option goes away

i have done it but i should not have. usually cashing out is not the best move with live as it is already heavily juiced.

It’s a terrible thing to do but I do it a lot. If I bet a soccer team underdog first half and they take the lead I’ll bail before halftime. If I bet full game I’ll bail late 80s if I only have a one goal lead. Earlier in the year I got smoked on Baltimore ML against the Bills. Had a brain freeze, probably could’ve cashed out for 98% of the total and didn’t think to do it. By the time I did things were so sideways I just rode it out hoping for the best.
