Kevin O’Leary just bought this $12,932,000 card as an investment.

At 3 AM on Sunday, three collectors were on a Zoom call watching the final moments of a record-breaking auction.

One was in Miami, one in Spain, and the third was Kevin O’Leary, aka Mr. Wonderful.

They had formed a syndicate to avoid bidding against each other, and together, they secured the most expensive card ever sold, the MJ and Kobe Dual Logoman for $12.932 million.

This card is the crown jewel. One of one. Game worn. Dual signed. Two legends.

O’Leary says it may never hit the market again in his lifetime.

Do you think these 1/1 type cards are becoming too gimmicky or played out??

Obviously some are incredibly like the MJ and Jordan one. But it seems like they’re getting ridiculous with some of the cards now

Personally I don’t think so

Most that we are in here for example are legit & unique

However, some of the products companies are putting out are gimmicky as they will have the exact same card, limited and numbered, with the only difference being a different colored border or background

The blue border may be numbered to #199, the orange border numbered to #99, purple border to #50, and so on

Exact same card with only a small difference

Now that is ridiculous
