Are you superstitious when it comes to another member posting before the game is over, how good your wager is looking or that it is going to win?

Not usually worried about a Jinx on my plays. I've been on both sides of the situation so many times, its tough to get superstitious. I think its fun to talk about when it happens but, no, I don't think its a jinx.

An Exception:
The only one that pisses me off is when an announcer says, "He's shooting 95% from the line and has hit his last 25 free throws in a row. This guy never misses". The shooter is screwed.

Another one is the same happening on field goals.

Somehow I think these announcers can cast a spell on the players because it never fails, they miss.

the only thing that really pisses me off is when is a team is on about a 12 game winning streak

and then some clown comes into a thread to say that hes made a killing on that run


while he has no posts showing he has bet any of the games

Not at all. They can leave their comments anytime they want. It won't bother me at all.

i am a bit superstitious when it comes to my bets. it's not when someone else talks about the game, its more of myself. like if i have a bet and i share it, that's fine. but if i start hyping it up as to why my play is the best play, it usually doesn't come out well. thats why i try to stay "humble" with my picks - if that makes sense

Not necessarily jinx but no doubt you can fvck with someone's mojo. Almost impossible to take emotions out of gambling and once in a bad mood you better log out of your book account or you will regret it.
