he was the one who brought it up, not the press. he talked about "the injury" and the thought was immediately by droves of media and fans (and probably fellow players) that he was lying about it, looking for sympathy.

I just don’t get it though. He doesn’t have to pull all these antics. I’m a Fed fan and grew to love Nadal, though watching Nadal take so long between points is pretty annoying. Joker is going to capture all the important titles. He literally just had to show up and play, but he continues to do things to make himself unlikeable. Off the court, he’s the nicest guy one can be. Much more approachable than the two others.
