Report came out this morning from a mysterious Twitter/X account called AFL Godfather, claiming that Raider Nation will have to wait another week before we get our new head coach.
The tweet was made after Denver advanced and during the Rams/Bears playoff game.
Q Myers, the host of the Locked on Raiders podcast says because of that, he believes the tweet meant that the person the Raiders are most interested in hiring to become their next head coach is coaching for Denver.
This would naturally mean Davis Webb.
I fully support this move. Yes, he don't have experience as a head coach, but he works tremendously with QBs.
Exactly what we need if we're going to draft Mendoza.
Plus, he's going and can grow with Mendoza possibly forming a Belichick/Brady type dynamic.
Raiders are on their way.
