It’s because they’re in Vegas, at the ‘Death Star’. Told the story here a few years ago, about a “guy weekend” we were planning, and it just coincided with the Raiders playing like the Dolphins, or somebody crap, where both teams were under .500
I’ve NEVER seen ticket prices that high, even for the ‘cheap seats’ it was like $250 a ticket…..

Raiders are an international team, not local.
We're not the fukkin Browns, Vikings, Jacksonville, Tampa, Houston, Seattle, Eagles of the world where nobody outside of their city gives a fukk about that team.
I once was smoking a cigar in a lounge in Philly, and this guy walks in and sits down across from me. From Huntington Beach, California.
We start talking football. I tell him I'm a Raiders fan. He says here in Philly?!
I say yeah bro, he says you fukkin guys are everywhere I can't get away from you people.
He then goes on to tell me he and his wife took a trip to Turkey a few years ago and where he was, was all Raiders fans. Says he went to Germany after that and ran into Raiders fans there.
Ain't nothing like Raider Nation, bro. We are everywhere. The World's Team.
