Exactly right....

There was nothing more exciting than watching Greg Lloyd go around the edge...Will he rip Marinos head off? Will Jim Kelly duck the sack? Will Elway scramble? Will Kevin Greene get him from the other side?

You got maybe 25 passes per game back then so it was highly anticipated....now w 50 passes per game its waterdown...then the new no fun rules...

Even in the 1990s look how Aikman got crushed by Eagles stud defenses. Think it started to change around when Manning came into the league. I hate the spread offense and think it has ruined football. Which is funny because I loved the uniqueness of the run and shoot when it 1st came out. Give me old school student body right/left or the option any day of the week. Guess that is why I took to NRL Rugby. i also like how the Aussie sports don't have the commercials.
