44 grams of protein in that little amount of cheese with no pepperoni or other protein source, cannot be right.Costco Slice Cheese Pizza (1 slice) contains 70g total carbs, 67g net carbs, 28g fat, 44g protein, and 700 calories
44 grams of protein? really?
I'm gonna get even more jacked!
I've recently gone gluten free.
As I adjust the diet it's protein that's a little harder to come by.
I currently eat 3-6 eggs per day as I adjust my breakfast and midday diet to get there.
Sadly, Costco pizza is out for me.
It’s not a little it’s a bed of thick cheese.44 grams of protein in that little amount of cheese with no pepperoni or other protein source, cannot be right.
KVer please deduct the eggs immediately.
one a day max at your age.
anything more than one egg a day is a death sentence.
If you're looking for a cheap meal that is fine but there's a lot better pizza places out there. I tend to avoid it
lots of nutrition experts here at BMR- best to listen to them KVB
are you pre-osteo?Why?
Cholesterol is fine and taking plenty of k2 and D3 to, put the calcium in the right spot…the bones.
About to meet with the nutritionist in a week, and go over blood test results.
About to enter a rigorous program of diet and exercise with some very specific goals like increasing bone density in mind.
bone density increase has an easy recipe:
1) take more D3 daily
2) get more sun (tough if you live in some regions, obviously)
3) more weight-bearing activities like walking, brisk-walking, light jogging, and weight-lifting.
Yeah, not the expert here, that's why I'm meeting with experts from a bunch of different areas, including a nutritionist.
I have tough goal ahead, rebuilding bone, and that's a long term, lifelong at this point, mission.
Science isn't the greatest there, but for my case I have some top experts from around the country to draw from, from NY to UCDavis.
So I'm doing what I can.
Calcium supplements and osteoporosis medications can stop bone loss -- which allows the bone to rebuild itself, Diemer explains. "But the body needs 'encouragement' to rebuild bone," she adds. "The skeleton needs to be under stress so it will get stronger." That's why exercise is important for better bone health.Yeah, not the expert here, that's why I'm meeting with experts from a bunch of different areas, including a nutritionist.
