Convince me Pats Have a Chance

I do not want to see Darnold win as a bitter Jets fan and I cannot bet him. I rather bet props than bet the Seahawks at this point. What is something that defends taking the Pats with the spread?

it is always surprising that ESPN doesn't hire you for your detailed analysis

I haven’t bet anything yet, but it is definitely Seattle or nothing for me. Might consider money line instead of laying the points too.

i feel the same about the hawks but i also don't want to count out vrabel and company.

my heart wants to take the pats and my head wants to take the seahawks. that is where i am at. i appreciate all of the feedback.

i was on the panthers there too

i generally do not like taking faves in the superbowl but sometimes you just feel like it is the right side

this is true really in all sports with big spreads. i remember bill simmons said the same thing when he wrote for espn. he would do his weekly nfl and only take a dog if he thought they could win no matter the spread. like you said, it doesn't factor in back doors.

i saw the rams moving the ball easily. if not for a muffed punt, rams could have gained control of that game. now not everyone is the rams but maye is not chopped liver, agreed.
