Why didn’t you make a police report and take hik to small claims court ? He would have got in trouble and lost the case.

@BobbyFK why didn’t you go to the police and make a report and want charges filed? Let’s say you didn’t want to do that but I would have. You can easily win in small claims court. It’s an easy win for you. Shame on Landers for doing this but you could have taken action and had an easy case and pressed charges.

The civil matter is moot as it was 10 years ago so statute of limitations has already passed for breach of contract with the loan. If I recall the details correctly, it was a bad check, so it was criminal, too. That would’ve been funny if a police report was done and BMR had a crime subforum.

Bobby should have called the police. Made a report and took him to small claims court. He would have won 100%.
