Just a head’s up:

Trainer D. Whitworth Beckman has started the Kentucky Downs meet 2 for 2. His winners were 10-1 and 22-1. He obviously won’t keep that pace up, but has three entered today at big odds. Worth a couple bucks to see if he can keep rolling.

With Colonial and Canterbury winding down, reviewed by account since 08/01/2025. I stand at +$125 with $21k in wagers. A lot of work for little to no gain.

Since I have my whole bankroll left, decided to go a bit heavy on Ochoa’s last few entries before the meet closes. So far, he’s only had one big price (25-1). Banking on him to close it out with a bang. He has eight entered during closing week. Putting $100 to win on each. Starting today:

Race 1, odds seem a bit out of whack. Angel M. Rodriguez has had a hell of a meet. More winners for him than I can ever remember and big ROI. He’s sitting at 11-1 with 15mtp. Horse ran very well at a similar level last two out. Seems like the Colonial bettors never caught on to this trainer.
