Depends on who you believe. The Gus haters are believing that letter as gospel. Others are hinting there’s more to the story, and that the kid has been looking to redshirt for a year. UCF hasn’t put out a statement yet.

Knights have had an inordinate amount of redshirting this year, though. I don’t feel bad for either side. It’s a business now, fvck em all.

I don't understand why a team that's not really using him would not want to red-shirt him if he was any good.
